Math Generator FAQs
What is the recommended system requirements?
Mac: System 7-9 & 10, 32MB RAM, 640 x 480 display (800 x 600 highly suggested), hard drive, CD-ROM, and printer.
Win: Windows 95-XP, 32MB RAM, 640 x 480 display (800 x 600 highly suggested), hard drive, CD-ROM, and printer.
Do I have to have my original disk in the drive to use Math Generator?
We no longer manufacture diskette versions of any of our products. If you purchased your software on diskette, the diskette is required to run Math Generator. Current versions of Math Generator do not require the CD-ROM to be in the drive to run.
Why does my worksheet appear to be cut off at the edge?
It is important to remember that all worksheets must be printed sideways when using any version of Math Generator before version 3. Certain windows machines may need to be restarted when you are sure that you have selected landscape mode. We have found that users who forget to print in landscape mode may need to at least restart Math Generator in order for the printer driver to recognize the change. All version 3 printouts are to be printed in portrait mode.
Can I run my MG from my floppy disk or CD-ROM?
No. This program requires a hard drive to work. The file that comes on your disk or CD is compressed in order to fit. It is then decompressed onto your hard drive to its original size by the installer.
Can I make tests as well as worksheets with Math Generator?
Yes. The latest version of Math Generator (Version 3 or higher), now supports placing any problem type on the same page. A future version will even let you group like problems and place individual directions for each group on the same page.

Virtual Fish Dissection FAQs
I can't find Virtual Fish Dissection on your web-site?
With much planning and thought, we have decided to sell Virtual Fish Dissection. It was a very hard decision to make. CANELA Software's education division will be focusing at this time on teacher tools only. We have been successful at it and want to maintain in that direction.
Virtual Fish Dissection continues to do well and is enjoyed by many users. For this reason we have sold it to a company that we work closely with. AMC Technology will continue to market this software aggressively. You can purchase it directly from them from this point on. The option to buy this software from CANELA Software has now been removed from our site.
We wish AMC Technology the best with Virtual Fish Dissection. It was fun creating it and most enjoyable watching students use it.
